If you are a solo lash artist with no staff, then you are at the right place. If you are a lash salon owner, please look for the LASH SALON OWNER LASHIE AWARD ENTRY FEE.
We started the Lashie Awards in 2021 to recognize the business side of our lash industry. There are a lot of lash competitions recognizing great lash artists, but we didn't see any awards recognizing great business operators. Thus the Lashie Awards was born. We are super excited that you have decided to enter this novel competition.
ENTRY FEE
Once you pay the entry fee, you will receive an email with a link to the application. It takes 1-3 minutes to come. If you do not see it, please check your spam folder.

- Your business opened by January 1, 2022
- Your business is in the lash industry
- You completely fill out the applicant information portion of this form
- You completely fill out the essays for the categories you want to enter
- You paid the non-refundable $75 processing fee for the online application
- Submit photos if submitting for best salon design

Here is a quick overview of how this unique competition works.
THE COMPETITION PROCESS
We have two divisions that compete separately from each other. THE LASH SALON OWNER and the SOLO LASH ARTIST divisions.
In this SOLO LASH ARTIST division there are five categories that we’ll be awarding Lashie Awards for:
BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE
BEST CLIENT RETENTION AND REFERRAL PROGRAM
BEST USE OF TECHNOLOGY
BEST SALON DESIGN
BEST MARKETING
You can enter any number of categories. You can enter into only one category or all seven if you want (or any number in between).
Please keep the word count to 750 words max for any category you enter. Each category has 5 to 7 questions for you to respond to. Please do not use more than 750 words to answer all the questions.
Each category essay will be read and rated by multiple judges. Your identity will be hidden from the judges. We will add the scores and determine the average score in each category. If your essay scores at the top of its category, you will receive a Lashie Award.
There can and most likely be more than one winner in each category. For example, we don’t believe there is just one person who is best at “customer service.” Instead, we believe that many business owners can demonstrate excellence in any of our five categories and if they score high enough in the essay, they will be honored with a Lashie Award. This does mean that you can win a Lashie in every category you enter if you score at the top.
The winners will be announced on September 7, 2022 via social media and email.
We will host the 2nd annual Lashie Awards on Saturday night November 5, 2022, at the LASHCONference. We will honor all our winners at this award presentation and pass out award certificates and trophies. If you can’t make it to the LASHCONference we’ll ship you your award certificate and trophy after the LASHCONference is over.
